During the restoration and rebuilding of Gut Saunstorf it was important to preserve the typical character of a North German mansion while adapting it to its new purpose. At the first stand, the interior architect drew the old prestigious reception room as the heart of the house. This energetic center became the Great Hall, the central meditation and event space of the Place of Stillness.

From here, the view opens over the large stairway and into the depths of the estate. The Great Hall is framed by two large, multi-purpose rooms and the prestigious entrance hall with reception, office, shop and fireside.

There are also two group rooms of about fifty-two square meters available. In the basement you will find our fifty square metre Dojo (training room) for body exercises or Zen exercises and in the attic is our library with a variety of selected books.
